Yerba Mate

A friend gave me a really cool yerba mate cuia (Pt) and bomba (Pt, I believe: bombilla in Spanish) over the holidays last winter.

Today, I spent some time trying to figure out where to replenish my supply, and came across several useful references, beyond wikipedia.

Dr. Juan Carlos Augusto's site at Southampton University has a good, descriptive mate page where there is a human introduction (as opposed to a polished version such as the wikipedia article). Better yet, after much trawling, I came across the Mercado Argentino based in South London (argh!) which has the best prices I can find in the UK...
